Electricon has prepared special solutions for optimum protection of fish farms against unintentional damage and supply system cut-outs.

Fish farms are often situated in places which are highly exposed to direct lightning strikes on the installations or ponds.

In addition to damage by direct strikes, Electricon's concepts also include protection against indirect damage to vital installations.

Effective, low-cost protection against damage from direct strikes can be obtained by using the existing masts and bird netting supplemented with Electricon’s air termination systems.

Damage from even very severe lightning strikes can be minimised or completely avoided by building effective surge protective devices into supply boards, and control and alarm systems.

A risk assessment and review of the existing installations enable Electricon to provide a quotation for a lightning protection system. We often carry out the installation work in partnership with regular subcontractors or the local electrician.
